LISTEN:

Lagoon is a lush, psychedelic ambient record from Nothing To Protect. It drifts like a dream of solace and isolation — the calm of a castaway surrounded by endless water, lush gardens, and distant birdsong. Thick, slow-moving textures shimmer like sunlight on deep water, like the moon singing over a hazy campfire near a lush jungle. It’s a soundworld both marooned and deeply at peace, suspended between mystery and familiarity. Lagoon unfolds like meditation itself: balanced between loneliness and belonging, strangeness and safety — a quiet reminder that we must not be afraid to stand alone. Because when we return to the world — and we do — we’ll always know how to find the lagoon, no matter where we may be.

“Come and live the enchanted life where time becomes eternity and you will become a beachcomber, a dreamer and dream untellable dreams and wander no more in the lagoon where the wind has been telling the truth forever and ever and ever…”
