Lagoon is a psychedelic ambient record from Nothing To Protect. It drifts slowly — surrounded by warm water, thick growth, and birds calling from the canopy overhead.
The water moves. I do not.
The lagoon holds the steady calm of isolation.
Slow-moving textures shimmer like light across deep green water. Pads swell and recede like moss against rock. Day and night feel suspended — cut off from the world, yet strangely held by it.
Each track unfolds like meditation without trying to be one — balanced between solitude and belonging, strangeness and safety.
And when we return to the world — we always do eventually — something remains.
Once you’ve found the lagoon, you know how to find it again.
